Vasyl Koval
Vasyl Koval, born in 1986 in the village of Kolodruby in the Lviv region, is an artist whose work focuses on the painterly depiction of rural Ukraine. After moving to Germany following the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2021, Vasyl's artistic focus shifted. Colour intensity, dynamism and the technique of prima painting combine to create a fascinating overall experience. His paintings are not only visual works of art, but also expressions of a living, pulsating and sometimes silent world that captivates the viewer.
